Biosensor-based Services
At Evotec we are applying following two biosensor technologies for drug discovery approaches:
- Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR) for soluble proteins: this technique enables kinetic characterization of drug-target interactions and also structural information.
- Grating Coupled Interferometry (GCI) for membrane proteins: this technique is often used for direct target engagement studies and quantification of binding kinetics.
Both SPR and GCI technologies investigate biomolecular interactions in a sensitive and label-free manner in real-time. Evotec is applying both techniques for biophysical screening and profiling approaches.
