Evotec offers advanced mass spectrometry services for biophysics research. With the latest mass spectrometry platforms, data are generated rapidly with a high degree of sensitivity, resolution and accuracy. Our team are highly experienced in mass spectrometry and biophysics as well as all aspects of drug discovery.

Evotec is offering a variety of MS-based screening and profiling approaches as drug discovery services. Biophysical MS-based approaches focus on screening of small molecule lead like collections in high throughput with targeted MS approaches like RapidFire® MS or Acoustic Ejection MS (AEMS) technologies in functional assays or with Affinity Selection MS (ASMS) technology in direct binding assays. Protein intact MS technology is applied to screen Evotec’s 5k covalent library set and supports research activities to discover and develop covalent drugs. Native MS offers the possibility for orthogonal characterization of initial hit compounds. HDX-MS technology is part of Evotec’s integrative structural biology platform and applied for epitope/paratope mapping, protein-ligand interactions (e.g. small molecules), protein stability/folding studies, or determination of flexible regions to assist construct design. Our UPLC/MS-based quality control (“QC”) platform ensures both, high-quality compounds along the life cycle of a library (entry- & rolling QC) and the quality of screening hits (spot checks).
