At Evotec, we are committed to making our website accessible to all users, regardless of their abilities or the technologies they use. Although our services are directed exclusively to business clients and the European Accessibility Act (EAA) does not currently impose direct obligations on B2B websites, we are committed to aligning with accessibility best practices.
Or website is currently partially compliant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA, and we are actively addressing the identified issues as part of our ongoing development roadmap.
So far, we have identified the following components that are not yet fully accessible:
- Navigation Menu: Submenus cannot be accessed via keyboard;
- Search Bar: Not keyboard-focusable; search must be accessed via the footer;
- Interactive Map Component: The map element used on https://www.evotec.com/en/our-company/about-us is currently not navigable or operable via keyboard;
- Timeline Components: Navigation arrows located at the bottom of timeline sections (e.g., on https://www.evotec.com/en/our-company/about-us) lack semantic roles and visible focus indicators.
- Interactive Process Component: Several issues affect accessibility:
- Lists lack descriptive ARIA labels,
- Decorative arrows not marked ‘aria-hidden="true"’,
- Accordions lack keyboard accessibility and ‘aria-expanded’ attributes.
- Forms: Limited control over the accessibility of embedded forms (e.g. newsletter, contact forms).
We welcome feedback that can help us improve the accessibility and usability of our website. If you experience difficulties accessing any part of our site or would like to report an issue, request assistance, or ask a question related to website accessibility, please contact us.
