His work encompasses chromatographic purification, viral inactivation, and various filtration techniques, all aimed at developing cost-effective purification processes using high throughput and platform methods to drive down development costs. In her current role, Susan leads the Tech Transfer and NPI team in Redmond, focusing on project leadership for early and late-stage molecule process transfer and tech transfer for biologics manufacturing. Her team plays a crucial role in translating process requirements into executable GMP manufacturing processes and providing technical support during manufacturing operations. Susan is motivated by the direct impact her work has on patients, especially in increasing access to biologics worldwide, particularly in collaboration with government and non-profit foundations to combat endemic diseases.
