Over the past decade, Evotec has built extensive expertise in fully integrated drug discovery projects in Women´s Health focusing on endometriosis, infertility and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) which have delivered multiple preclinical candidates advancing into clinical development.

The use of specialized technology platforms, and a comprehensive list of established and validated in vitro mechanistic assays, such as urogenital ridge, primary granulosa cell and ovarian assays, and complex in vivo rodent disease models for endometriosis, PCOS and ovarian chemotoxicity together with the strong expertise of our researchers, are key factors to the success of novel discovery projects in Women´s Health. To pursue our mission into delivering safe and effective medicines for women´s health, we are developing a teratogenicity platform using relevant iPSC-based differentiation model systems to detect compounds teratogenic to humans.
