Art. 13 GDPR Information on data protection

We process your data  to enable us to communicate with you and we store this data in our systems. The respective controller is resulting from the signature of the e-mail sender.

The legal basis for the processing is Art. 6 para 1 lit. f GDPR. We use this data in order to provide you with information about our products and our company or to process your inquiries or respond to your requests.

Usage of your data for newsletters

We (including our other entities) may also use your data to inform you about new products, services or general news about our company. We only send you newsletters in accordance with statutory law or after you declared your consent. We are able to measure the range of our newsletters by monitoring if you read the newsletter or clicked on the links in the newsletter based on your consent. You may revoke your consent at any time by clicking on the unsubscribe-link in the newsletter email. We won’t send you any further newsletters then.

Disclosure of your data

We do not transfer your data to third parties unless we have your consent to do so. The data will only be used for the above-mentioned purposes. Service providers are helping us with the processing of your data. These service providers operate, for example, our servers on which your data is stored and are strictly dependent on our instructions while processing your data. In cases where service providers have access to personal data processed by us from outside the European Union or the European Economic Area, we have established contracts including Standard Contractual Clauses (which you can find here) or other measures to ensure an adequate level of data protection in the respective country.

Transfer to third countries within our group of companies

In some cases, we may transfer your data to countries outside of the European Union and the European Economic Area. In these cases, we have ensured that an appropriate level of data protection is guaranteed by so-called Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs). The relevant parts of the contracts concluded within our group of companies can be found here (2010/87/EU) and here (2004/915/EC).

Retention of your data

The data will only be stored for the duration of statutory retention obligations. Subsequently, or if you ask us to do so, we will delete your personal data.

Rights as data subject

As you are affected by the data processing, you have the right to information about the data stored by us, the right to correction, deletion, restriction of processing, transfer of your data and the right to object against the further processing. In addition, you may revoke your consent to the processing of your data, provided you have given us such consent. Finally, you have the right to complain to a supervisory authority if you believe that we are illegally processing your data.
