The 12^th edition is dedicated to our exciting new developments in pre-clinical cellular models with a particular focus on three-dimensional (3D) cell culture platforms, including microtissues, organoids and organ-on-a-chip systems.

Prescribed 3D in vitro platforms will be an important element of Evotec’s R&D Autobahn and will, in early and late drug discovery, provide advanced knowledge in terms of efficacy and toxicity.  These new developments will provide an improved understanding of human diseases, support the identification of novel therapeutics and better predict the human response to drug candidates.

Evotec`s 3D cell models will lead to well-informed decisions that can be made much earlier than it is possible today, thus saving time, effort and cost.
