Evotec is building a sustainable pipeline of novel drug candidates to treat disorders of the central nervous system (CNS) and has a diverse pipeline in neurology, pain and inflammation with strong clinical opportunities.

Strength and Focus

Our focus is on the discovery and development of novel drugs to treat major CNS disorders such as Alzheimer's disease, insomnia and pain.

Our drug discovery efforts are based on expertise within CNS diseases, in particular in neurodegeneration, where we have a range of proprietary drug discovery technologies and assets. This is combined with the proven operational excellence and significant infrastructure which have made Evotec a preferred drug discovery partner of the industry.

Evotec's clinical development team consists of experts who have a successful track record at large pharmaceutical firms of conducting phase I and phase II clinical trials within CNS indications.

Partnerships form a central part of our strategy. Through in-licensing, Evotec seeks to expand and enhance its pipeline and through out-licensing, partner with companies who are experts in late-stage clinical development and subsequent commercialization.

Overall, Evotec has a well balanced drug development pipeline addressing therapeutic areas with significant unmet medical needs. The breadth and depth of Evotec's pipeline ameliorates the risks inherent in drug development and, in turn, significantly increases the chances of one or more products being successfully introduced to the market.
