Evotec has an extensive range of capabilities in structural biology to facilitate the rapid delivery of structural data to support drug discovery activities.

Protein Production

• Supports HTS, NMR screening and X-Ray crystallography activities
• Proprietary high throughput platform incorporates parallel construct design, molecular biology, protein expression and protein purification
• Expertise in handling E.coli, P.pastoris, insect and mammalian cells

X-Ray Crystallography

• Crystallisation is performed on the nano-litre scale using a panel of potential crystallisation conditions.  Results are visualised using a fully automated crystallisation image capture robot
• In-house X-ray facilities along with access to the world-leading Diamond Light Source, Synchrotron (Oxfordshire, UK) are used to collect Synchrotron diffraction data
• Expertise is provided for de novo X-ray crystallographic structure elucidation and repeat ligand complexes, facilitating novel structural information for structure based drug design

NMR

• Experienced team in labeling studies such as ¹⁵N
• Access to multiple NMR systems
• Licence to Abbott’s SAR-by-NMR™ screening technology
