NR2B-selective NMDA Antagonists - Treatment Resistant Depression

EVT 101 and EVT 103 are orally active NR2B subtype selective NMDA-antagonists.

A Phase II Proof-of-Concept study in patients with treatment resistant depression was was initiated under a collaboration with Roche (see press release 1^st July 2010) and was voluntarily terminated (see press release 18^th May 2011).

EVT 103, also part of the alliance with Roche, is a follow-on molecule to EVT 101. EVT 103 has successfully completed a single and multiple ascending dose Phase I study, and was shown to be safe and well tolerated (see press release 10^thMarch 2010).

Evotec now retains all rights in the EVT100 series, including the back-up compound EVT103, and will enter into partnering discussions for these assets in another clinical development partnership.
